Confidential Documents in DOKKA

DOKKA includes a dedicated Confidential Workspace, designed for storing sensitive documents that should only be accessible to authorized users — such as bookkeepers and system administrators.
This ensures that private information remains secure and visible only to the right people.

What Is the Confidential Workspace?

The confidential workspace is a restricted folder within DOKKA used for uploading and managing private or sensitive documents — such as payroll slips, contracts, or personal financial files.

Users without special permissions (for example, regular users or end clients) cannot see or access these documents.

The Confidential Email Address

Each company in DOKKA has a unique confidential email address, separate from its main company email.
Once inside the confidential workspace, the company’s confidential email address appears beneath the company name.

DOKKA automatically adds a dot and the word “confidential” at the end of the main address.

For example:

  • Main company email: company@dokka.co.il

  • Confidential workspace email: company.confidential@dokka.co.il

Any document sent to this address will be uploaded directly into the confidential workspace.

How to Access the Confidential Workspace

In your DOKKA home screen, you’ll find a button labeled “Confidential” just below your list of folders.
Clicking this button opens the Confidential Workspace, where you can view and manage all sensitive documents.

The interface looks similar to your regular DOKKA workspace — the main difference is that it only displays documents that were uploaded to the confidential area.

Why Can’t I See Some of the New Documents?

If you notice that your DOKKA dashboard indicates new documents, but when you click the number it takes you to an empty page —
it most likely means those new documents are confidential and stored in the restricted workspace.

Only users with the appropriate permissions can view documents in this space.

Who Has Access to Confidential Documents?

Access to the confidential workspace is limited to:

  • Bookkeepers

  • System Administrators (Admins)

Basic or end users won’t see the “Confidential” folder and cannot view any documents inside it.
