DOKKA pulls the data from the invoice that you upload. The financial processing is handled in QBO.

However, if you have an invoice in a currency that is different from the currency listed in QBO for this supplier or company, or if you need to use a different exchange rate, you can set it in DOKKA.

First, you need to enable multiple currencies in your company settings in QBO. To do this:

  1. Log into QBO and go into the company that needs multiple currencies
  2. Click on the Settings icon (the gearwheel on the top left part of the window)
  3. Click on "Accounts and Settings" (the top left option)
  4. Click on Advanced
  5. In the Currency section enable "Multicurrency"

Now go into the connected company in DOKKA and open an invoice with a different exchange rate.

אני לא בטוח שזה עבד...

DOKKA will default to the settings in QBO. The Currency field will have the value of the Supplier in QBO. If the Supplier does not have a currency set, DOKKA will show the currency for the Company.

The exchange rate in the bottom section of the form is now an editable field. It will default to the official exchange rate for the conversion between the currency of the invoice (as you selected above) and the currency for the Company. You can change the rate here to the rate that you need to use for your records.

DOKK will remember this rate for this Supplier going forward, unless you change it again. The total on the bottom right of the form is the number that will be posted to QBO when you Accept the transaction.
