Downloading the Documents to Your Computer
In cases where you need to back up or download documents from DOKKA to your computer — for example, when finishing work with a client or saving a secondary copy of your data — this can be done easily and in several ways.
DOKKA allows you to download individual documents, multiple documents, or even an entire folder, in a variety of available formats.
Step A – Selecting the Documents to Download
In DOKKA, you can choose documents to download in two different viewing modes: Gallery View and Table View.
Both allow you to select one document, multiple documents, or a full folder — depending on your needs.
Gallery View
In this view, documents appear as cards with thumbnails, showing a small preview image for each file.
This layout is especially useful when you want to identify documents visually (for example, by logo, date, or amount).
Selecting documents in Gallery View:
Click a document once to select it.
Hold Ctrl and click additional documents to select multiple files.
Press Ctrl + A to select all documents in the folder.
After making your selection, an Action Bar will appear at the top of the screen with options such as Download, Print, and Export.
Table View
Table View displays documents in a structured list format, with columns for supplier name, date, amount, status, and more.
This view is ideal when working with large volumes of documents or when searching by data fields.
Selecting documents in Table View:
Check the box next to each document you wish to download.
You can select multiple documents manually or press Ctrl + A to select all rows at once.
Step B – Downloading the Selected Documents
DOKKA allows you to download documents in several formats: Excel, CSV, PDF, or print directly from the system.
A. Downloading in Excel / CSV Format
Go to the folder or search results you wish to download.
Click the Export icon at the top-left corner of the screen.
Choose your preferred format — Excel or CSV.
The file will automatically download to your computer and include all selected documents.
B. Downloading as PDF or Printing Directly
After selecting your documents — whether from Gallery View or Table View — a toolbar will appear.
To download the files to your computer, click the Download icon.
To print the documents directly from DOKKA, click the Print icon.
If the Download Doesn’t Start
If you’ve clicked “Download” but the files aren’t being saved to your computer, your browser may be blocking pop-up downloads from DOKKA.
In this case:
Check the address bar at the top of your browser.
If you see a small notification about blocked downloads, allow downloads from dokka.com.
Once approved, you’ll be able to download the files normally.
